NEXUR began with fourteen founding technology companies, together with public and institutional entities as collaborating partners:

Currently, the cluster has approximately forty member companies, including the recent addition of San Telmo Business School as an institutional partner.

Key Actions

Current Status

Currently, the NEXUR Technology Cluster is in a full expansion phase, carrying out various networking, communication, and promotion activities. Its main objective is to increase the number of member companies, attract new firms to the region, and consolidate its position as a leading ecosystem and Technology Hub in southern Andalusia and Europe. As of March 2025, NEXUR has grown to 30 member companies, with several more in the process of joining. In May 2025, it signed a collaboration agreement with San Telmo Business School to drive digital transformation, incorporating it as an international and academic partner focused on training through the Innovation and Digitalization Program (ideAD), technology, entrepreneurship, and project management. Also in May, it organized a meeting with French technology, cultural, and heritage management companies at the Alcázar of Jerez, promoting investments and collaborations, organized by Cádiz Investment Hub and supported by the City Council and the Provincial Council of Cádiz. The Tech Innovators Summit 2025 in June brought together experts in AI, quantum computing, and cybersecurity, fostering synergies and positioning Andalusia as a technology hub. Recently, in August 2025, the Jerez City Council signed a four-year agreement with CITED and NEXUR for the Jerez Technology Innovation Center, creating training units, startup mentoring, and funding search to promote technological entrepreneurship.
